  • Específicamente el Cabaret de La Fulminante condensa todas las herramientas usadas en el proyecto multimedia www.lafulminante.com (música, video, performance) todos los elementos giran alrededor de este personaje quién interpreta a una serie de acciones inspiradas en distintos tipos de actos escénicos relacionados con el comercio sexual y la cosificación del cuerpo de las mujeres, como lo son: el video chat pornográfico, el striptease, el reggaetón, transgrediéndolos al mezclarlos con un lenguaje panfletario y de denuncia política, para cuestionar las relaciones de poder que se manifiestan en los mass media, usando un collage de video extraído de la televisión colombiana donde se evidencian diferentes estrategias de manipulación mediática utilizadas para tergiversar la historia del conflicto armado exaltando como héroes a las figuras relacionadas con el narcotráfico y el paramilitarismo,  al mismo tiempo que se ningunea la voz de las victimas y  las luchas populares en Colombia durante el último siglo.Ha sido presentado en diferentes países:

  • La Fulminante is a character inspired by the stereotypes of Latina women sexy and provocative. A woman extracted from erotic fantasies built by Mass Media , reggaeton and pornography . She uses her body as a tool to disseminate ideas, as an element of attraction to make visible things not usually spread by conventional communication channels. She speaks in its own language, demoniac, which has been translated to different languages: Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese and French.  La Fulminante occurs mainly through video performances, interventions in public space and a Cabaret show. Playing issues related to globalization the struggle against imperialism and against the model of power relations embodied in latin american machismo. Specifically Cabaret La fulminante express her self mainly through video condenses all the tools used in this multimedia project (music, video , performance) all elements revolve around this character who plays a series of actions inspired by different types of stage acts related to the sex trade and the commodification of women’s bodies , such as: the pornographic video chats in the transgretion happens when she mixes this stage acts with political pamphleteer and video chat, striptease , reggaeton , transgretion happens when she mixes this stage acts with political pamphleteer and reporting language, to challenge power relations are manifested in the mass media, using a collage of video extracted from the colombian tv domination. This ideological trade in tv enhances different strategies used to silence people struggles.

    The cabaret has 10 acts, in which different visual and scenic resources are used: The closed circuit video, real-time video mixing, performance, the erotic dance, projection collage video files (narco novels, newsletters, speeches, etc.), sculptural objects, costumes, 2 original songs, noise, all the videos and the material used in the assembly have been developed by the author. It has been featured in: Bogota, Ibague, Bucaramanga (Colombia) Sao Paulo and Curitiba (Brazil), Montreal and Quebec City (Canada), Bologna (Italy),

    Paris (France), Bilbao (Basque Country) Madrid and Barcelona (Spain).
